Characteristics

A lovely unusual antique chest of drawers, with an ovolo lip above inlaid details over two short and three long graduated, cockbeaded drawers. With turned feet and turned wooden handles. A beautiful rich patina throughout, with the sides having been painted a very gentle red, now scraped to show the original polish and resulting in a charming, interesting texture. This piece has been recently rewaxed and polished in our workshop and is in very good condition.
