Shipping & Returns


Deliveries to the UK mainland will be made within 14 days of an order being placed. We will be in touch within 48 hours to confirm arrangements with you. International shipping times vary and will be discussed when an order is placed.

Delivery costs to the UK mainland will be applied at checkout, based on the size of your item(s). International shipping costs vary and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Collection can be arranged from our workshop for free if you can arrange your own means of transport. Small items of furniture are delivered nationwide for £50, medium items for £70 and large items for £100. If you buy more than one item, only the largest delivery cost will be applied.

Smaller items will be delivered by Royal Mail or ParcelForce and have a flat shipping rate, dependent on size, to cover post and packing.


Our Returns Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

If you are unhappy with an item for any reason, it can be returned or exchanged provided it is returned in the condition in which it was received. If you wish to return your item for either a full refund or a Summerfield and Scott credit note please get in touch via within 14 days of delivery. Should you have an item to return, please note that you will be responsible for returning it to us in the condition in which it was received and will be responsible for all associated packaging and shipping costs.

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the item was faulty when received by you. We take great care to ensure that all our furniture leaves our workshop in the best possible condition. This condition is recorded on the webpage detailing each item when it is available for sale, and again on your confirmation of purchase e-mail, so please check here if you are unsure as to what to expect. Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. International orders cancelled before they leave our workshop will be refunded in GBP.
