The sweeping semi-circular colonnades frame the expansive piazza, guiding the eye towards the towering obelisk that serves as the focal point of the scene. Small figures, horse-drawn carriages and groups of visitors animate the square, providing both scale and a vivid sense of eighteenth-century life.
