Characteristics

A dining chair featuring a reclaimed 1970s chestnut frame fitted with a newly hand-woven rush seat and matching rush backrest.

The original frame has been restored and finished with linseed oil, the drop-in seat pad and back panel are made using locally harvested rush, prepared and woven by hand in our Northamptonshire workshop.

Each chair is individually finished, and variations in timber grain, colour, and rush are an inherent part of its character.
