Characteristics

A solid ash bench with a hand-woven rush seat and lower shelf.

The frame is made from Boughton Estate ash, finished with linseed oil. The seat is woven by hand using locally harvested rush in our Northamptonshire workshop using traditional rush-working techniques.

Designed for use in hallways, bedrooms, living spaces, or at the dining table, the bench combines practical storage with the comfort and durability of rush seating. The lower shelf provides additional space for books, baskets, shoes, or everyday objects.

Each bench is made individually, and variations in timber grain, colour, and rush weave are an inherent part of its character.

8-12 weeks. Please get in touch should you have any urgent requirements and we will accomodate what we can.
