Characteristics
A charming antique mahogany washstand from the early Victorian period. A three quarter gallery surrounds a basin recess sitting on turned and ringed uprights, over a single shelf with drawer over turned and ringed legs. Includes a later, likely Arts and Crafts, stoneware basin and jug in lovely brown and bronze hues, both of which are in excellent condition. The washstand itself is in very good condition, with a gentle patina throughout.
